after the 2" body lift.
it feel big now...
cant wait get my wheels now.
took all day long to do this lift.
and cheers lads you could of warned me what I work I was taking on.
I never even considerd the fact that the bumpers are are attatched to the chassis not the body.that was a fair old conversion so theres no 2" gap between them.
I never thought about the gear stick being a bit further away.
And what do I do about the rubber seal around the intercooler as theres a 2" gap?
happy though

when you've undone all the bolts, how do you lift the body to fit the spacers? do you just eat loads of spinach like popeye:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol

block of wood under the sill and a jack. I was sure summat was going to break.
glad its behind me

Gap to Intercooler is no problem mate, makeitfit has no rubber on his at all

Looks well tho mate :) how did u make the bumpers work ?

angle grinder and welder.
redrill holes on front bumper only one pin will fit so had to make a clamp for the bottom pin.
the rear brackets that fit into the chassis were removed and re welded in raised position.

Spot on. Toying with the idea of doing body on mine but no need this far

did the body lift for the cheap cost to fit the wheels i want.
trouble is like you said the chassis is still low.
hope i dont get to addicted and do another suspension lift too:augie

You gotta do sus lift mate, it's most important if your offroading that is

Hi. I run a d21 with I'm guessing the same engine, if yours is the 2.7, were is/was your egr? I can't find one on my truck. Kev

Confusingly they don't all have them.
However if you look at the rear of the inlet manifold and underneath it , you should see the offending gubbins.
If it's there then unbolt the valve off the underside of the mani and make and fit a blanking plate. Refit and bob's your fanny's aunt :thumbs

Thanks for this thread, I'm going to do a 2" lift now, how did you get around the transfer leaver issue?
