beep beep

got a weird problem where the horn randomly goes off when driving just sometimes a faint beep and sometimes its full on . also does it when the wheel is at the same angle . not all the time just random.

had a look behind the steering wheel and noticed the problem is around this


its very loose and rattles about quite a lot , it looks to me like it makes a contact with the centre of steering nut when the steering wheel is being moved

common problem, it's an anti vibration plate, just take it out and throw it away!

sound good . will remove tomorrow . off to work i go now

so is it fastened in by anything . will it just pull out ?

Its just held in by small rubber pads and these wear and it comes loos, eventually it will
fall out, so just give it a tug ,sort of speak!

Enjoy, it's fiddly lol, long nosed pliers work a treat, I just used my fingers lol
