Gruesome York

York has quite a gruesome history when it comes to the poor old scots.
If you do want to visit York especially the museums Cosmic you should be ok with a Yorkshire guard. :lol:

Tell you what I could try to arrange tho. I have a mate who owns a Cessna. I have nt seen in him for a while but he's took me on a few trips in the past around Yorkshire. We could probly fly over York aswell as walk the walls ???? Just a thought mate. :smile:

Adventure

I know the words Scotland & beach dont exactly paint a picture of warm seas and coconut trees etc. :? But come on chaps lets try to create our very own coastal paradise for the bank holiday. :roll: :p Or have you got some DIY around the house to do that just cant wait to be done ??? :lol: I have. But guess what ? Its gunna afta wait. :lol:

Not long back from the beach,only about 70 miles for us for a change!!
Got there about Lunchtime Saturday,got the tent all set up with the help of everybody as the wind had picked up a bit!.
When they said camping on the beach that's exactly what it was ON THE BEACH!!
Being on the coast line meant we were at the mercy of the weather! wind got up some during the night and seemingly there was a good downpour as well (must have been asleep at that point!)
Our new tent coped very well,quite impressed since it only cost £70 from Aldi!!
Pork and baked potatoes were just the ticket from the beach fire!
Today we were playing on the beach with the motors,went out with a patrol towards the sea,traveled for what seemed ages and still never got to the sea!!
Bit different doing 50 alone the beach!! honest we weren't racing!!
All in all we all enjoyed ourselves and would do it again!

The wind and rain on a beach

Brilliant pictures Cosmic.
There was strong wind and rain plus sunshine but mainly wind and briliant company which all added to a memorble first trip to Southerness. :p

Mav chopped the picture of fat man riding a quad wearing a thong so I erased the picture altogether. :oops: :eek: :roll:
