evening all

My positive terminal to my battery is cracked on my Nisson Mistral 1996.
Can anyone tell me where to buy another one
i have already bought one from halfords and fitted it but the hole for the cable is too small so i have only been able to put about a third of the cable in , to keep me on the road ,
has any o ne else ever replaced theirs ??:nenau

local motor factors will have what you want.:thumb2 common fault.

How far are you away from Milners? they'll be used to dealing with the thicker cables on 4x4's surely?

i had same issue, i actually bought new cable from motor factors, and new clamps, been perfect ever since.

If they crack, you are over-tightening them!

When you crank over, the power going through will heat it, expand it and crack it. Tighten just enough so that is doesn't move.

Universal ones can be sought from most factors for a few pounds.
