i know this topic has been covered umpteen times, ive looked through the previous posts and tried certain websites but where is the best place to buy a new battery from online? not looking to spend a fortune either!!

cheers

ross

I tried the link to tayna batteries and they do various types including a make called Numax which are about £85 plus £10 delivery. Try a company called manbat online they are the importers for numax batteries cost £65 from them they have outlets all over the country http://www.manbatbatteries.co.uk.Batteries are very expensive at the moment it appears the chinese are buying up all the lead and copper!

my battery at present is: 115Ah , 730CCA. A lot of the batteries online are either 85Ah or 95Ah.
What is the recommended power for the terrano battery?

The numax i have is 95amp and 730 cold crank would not go below this, and this is one is a perfect fit.

My Mistral has two batteries !, I got two 75a/h for £90 fitted from Shandon Eletrics in Bellshill Ind Est. Where in Glasgow are you, Im in Bothwell.

cheers bibio,

i'll give them a try, im just up the road in east kilbride.

got a new battery today - £82.50 from andrew watt - not too bad i suppose. had phoned round a good few places and it cetainly was the cheapest.

its quite a bit bigger than my last battery size wise and is a different fit. had to make a new bracket to hold it in place. it certainly seems a better heavy duty battery than the last one!!

Why not try your local Nissan garage. Ive just bought one from them only £68 with a 3 year warrany and you can be sure youll get the correct battery

Your battery from Andrew Watt was £82, 2x batteries from Shandon =£90
maybe yours is a better quality..You might see my motor in E/K, my daughter is in St Lenards.

John.

i wanted a 95 a/h battery as i felt 75a/h would be too little - shandons quoted £92 for a 95a/h battery.
