Looking to upgrade my tired old 75 Ah battery and thinking about an Optima Red Top, but can't get my head around them being great starters but only having around 50Ah capacity (was assuming I'd be better off going to 100 Ah?)....doesn't that mean they would give out quicker under load???

It's to do with cranking rate I think. That's different from it's AH rating, which is just how long it'll last with no more charge:eek:
So a high cranking rate is the "starter" part of the figures ;)(I tink)

i had a yellow one on an old sj.... someone bought it for the battery. it was worth more than the jeep:nenau:nenau:nenau

327.00 and an old mk1 lancer for the sj (rotten, no tubs at all)
