Any of you guys done top n bottom ball joints on a D22 Are they a bugger to do Or not a bad job. And how long would it take per side

If they are similar to Terrano2 balljoints, not a very difficult operation. If I'm not mistaken there's even a workshop download available for that.

Note though: existing bolts will most likely shear, so save time and just cut them. And don't forget to order replacement bolts.

I found a decent ball joint splitter (see recent topics on that) a great help.

I know i have asked about ball joints But just thinkin i have not seen this truck yet Its a mates He says you cannot keep it on the road its all over the place and scrubbing tyres off What do you guys think it might be
 
Check the track rod ends for play, and also the rest of the steering linkage :thumb2

When was the last time the tracking was checked?

If the roads near you are anything like ours, that'll knock the tracking around.

The other thing is tyre pressures.

Two little things that can cause scrubbing.
