Hi All,
Just had the 4 track rod ends and steering bar changed but still get a knock on full lock that I am guessing is ball joint related, I bought both top and bottom to fit when I did the steeing but ran out of time, so how hard are these ball joints to change, and do I need any special tools ?
Cheers
Geoff

Easy mate

Drop hub off completely and it's a walk in park

if its on full lock it could be the steering stops, blob of grease on each one does the job, 2 each side

make sure they have sent the right size low ball joint . because they didn't with mine and it makes the car un driveable .

Thanks all for the replies, it's not the sound of the the steering bouncing off the stops, it does sound like a ball joint, so seen as I have already bought them may as well fit them.
Thanks all for the great response, this is a great site

Easy to prove stops, instead of holding the wheel hard over, just back off a little make no difference to turning circle but noise stops, Rick
