Yes that's them, they go on top arm between arm and ball joint

You get 6 @ 6mm each

I read on aus. forums not to use more than 12mm as a spacer so 2 of them

Also you will need new ball joints as your bolts will snap on ball joint, and you'll need longer bolts

I've got them but not fitted yet. I'm going to assemble them but I'm going to weld them together and to top arm, because the ball joint in its stock location relys on the round bit locating into the top arm and this socket type fitting is what takes all the forces, not the bolts, so by adding these spacers you are moving the balljoint away from the arm and the forces are then transferred to those 4 poxy 6mm bolts

... If you see what I'm saying :D

Not sure how it works, but I can see it will move the top arm up then you adjust the torsion bar to get the lift?

Just done mine mate today.

You don't need to weld anything, just use 2 of the 6mm packers per side

You'll need m8x30mm 12.9 high tensile bolts

U'll also need to replace both top balljoints as bolts will snap off

Cool, glad you have said no welding. Am I correct in saying that they just help space the top arm away front he bump stops? And would this mod not effect camber?

Btw my camber was seriously out, negative. These spacers have got me spot on again :)

See my post, 12mm corrected my camber, but I've lifted my front a fair whack

Sounds good, I think I would prefer a bit of negative camber though. Which post do you mean?

Yeh neg is better, but I had sooo much neg it was ridiculous

This was before I added spacers:

Now it looks much better, perhaps a slight bit of positive but heyho

so am i right in saying theses spacers gives u 12mm more drop on the front

Yes.

You get 6 no 6mm spacers when ordered

I used 2 no 6mm per side giving 12mm lift to top arm

This corrected camber and the extreme ball joint angle

Cv joint also runs smooth at full droop (I also have no front droop bump stop)

so with the extra 12mm higher top arm is it still bottming out when jacked up i.e u gain more drop then before u put spacers in

Just had a look and it says it doesn't fit my Terrano (2001) for some reason.

I don't think the positive camber will do you any good, good for under steering.

They are all the same mate, mines '02 btw

Yeh positive is shite, but its next to fk all if anything

yes, more droop and sorts the camber out

Ok I understand that the spacers can affect the camber, and this could be used to take advantage of this effect saves putting shims in. BUT...

If you take the spacers to extreme, then there will be no up and down movement of the front suspension as it will bottom and top earlier than without the spacers.

Surely you would want to increase the movement? :nenau

Or have I got this off roading stuff out of perspective ?.:nenau:nenau

No, spacers give you more overall travel, as you gain more droop travel

You don't lose any up travel

Ok after today's broken cv joint I'd say forget spacers tbh

Maybe 1 of 6mm spacer but only if you leave your droop bumpstops in, but tbh I'd not bother

I'm going to shim out my top arms to correct camber instead

What can I say :augie
I've never used them and run 35s with no suspension issues or CV probs :thumb2
Camber adjusted on top arms, sorted :D
Bump stops are where one's attention should be lavished

How do people get a 2" lift if the top arms are nearly hitting the bump stop sitting on the drive not doing anything ?
