bad grounding (earth)

Hi all,

I am a newbe so please forgiven the terminoligy that I may use. I have just bought my first terrano 2.7 diesel, and I LOVE IT.

I have a few things to put right so one at a time.

I have a bad earth on the rear light cluster bad cannot find where the hell the ground wire is or goes.

Can anyone help.

remove the bulb holders from behond bumps, remove bulbs and spray with wd40.

check that all wires are connected properly. as some times the wires brake..

Mine did the same thing about a month ago on the near side, Pulled it all out. It was a broken wire, May be the same thing

Hi i had the same problem
I changed the wiring harness and still the same it was a broken wire before the block connector (Chassis side)

Thanks for all the info sorted thanks. The butcher from Bristol who had it before me changed one of the lamp holders with the wrong type.

Just popped down to cms in Glos and got one of a Maverick done both sides at the same time (he had done the same to the other side)

£10 both sides with new lense not bad I thought.

All happy now off to do some tilling now to keep her happy, will have another play tomorrow.
