My Trucks back on the road again:thumb2 now can't wait to get it off road again:lol
Thanks to Clivvy for his encouragement I got off my backside and fixed it and also thanks to Extreme for the idea about the leaking oil cooler.
Crankshaft Sensor looked very awkward but turned out to be the easiest job, hidden behind all thoses drive belts at the front of the engine.
Water leak that I thought was something like a core plug or head/gasket and was quoted £400 plus actually turned out to be a simple bolt that cost £2 from a dealer. It was the bolt that holds the dip stick tube but also just happens to be a bolt for the oil cooler.
So now my truck runs nice and sweet and is now stopped being incontinent and wetting the drive with coolant. What a sense of achievment that this has given me, probably sounds like easy jobs to some of you but I'm very pleased with my self.
