Hi all

I don't have a micrometer and have been advised to change the snap rings on my T2 front hubs...

They come in 7 thickness's from 1.1 to 2.3mm

Can someone please advise me what thickness I need?

Thanks

Sorry no idea which thickness you need but this could save a lot of messing about.

Good find, Good price.:thumb2 :thumb2 :clap :clap

I couldn't work without one, instant reading, also you can re-zero using say 2 6mm nuts then put one each side of your brake disc then measure the actual thickness of your disc, without measuring the rusty ridge. :thumb2 :thumb2

Bought mine from Aldi about the same price. :thumb2

Easily measure your snap ring thickness. :thumb2

If you had a set of feeler gauges, you could fit the gap with a ring in place, then measure the overall thickness of ring plus feeler gauges, to give you the size, and go for the next thickness of ring down.
I've never done it myself but it should be a good guide.

Best regards, Rustic
