Auto free wheel hub problem

Yeah it does, they normally fracture where they bend too before eventually the lug breaks off.

Sadly yes but after my third one broke I went for the manuals and to be fair theyve been great. I simply lock the manuals when I know Im likely to need 4wd, all it does is turn the front diff and propshaft.

That ring does not look too bad in the photo but it is slightly bent and the lug on one side is smooth to the ring, nothing like the snapped one we had before though.
Although they havn't been serviced there was plenty of grease in them.
Anyway, I am going to try another set and hope they solve the problem, if not I'll be back

think i have a spare set of auto locking hubs.. changed mine before a member here suggested the actual wheel hub itself was duff. so bought spare set for nothing.
