Hi,

In a post below I mentioned that on way back from France one of the pipes for the oil cooler got worn and burst. Don't suppose anyone has got one of these I could buy off them. It is the two pipes that run up the right hand side of the rad fan up to the gearbox oil cooler that is infront of the rad. (the pipes have a double rubber sleve around them.

Having a hell of a job getting these from Nissan and until I can get a new pipe and fill the box up again with oil I wont know if it is knackered or not.

The pipes are highlighted in red in the image below.

Pm cncfabs he may have a set or know where he can get some from

Pretty sure you could make your own up with Kunifer Copper Pipe they do all sizes just need to saw a bit of the old pipe off to get the right o.d.
I had my old Mini Cooper 'S' Hydralastic PIpes moved from under the bodywork to inside the transmission tunnel for road rallying events.
Did the same with the fuel lines.
All the unions etc I got from one of those places that make digger pipes - they also made me the flexi pipes for the 13 row oil cooler.

Methinks it's not particularly high pressure on the cooler section.

Richard, Surely these are of ordinary high-pressure rubber fuel -line type, there are on mine. I had one burst last year & lost 5 1/4L of auto fluid! Looks like I got away with it though (fingers kotted LOL). There is not much pressure involved, certainly nowhere neer the rating of HP hose. I replaced both of them quite cheaply with HP fuel pipe which actualy looked to be better stuff.
BTW, mine are one piece from cooler to rad etc. not short ones with metal pipes in between.
If you get some fluid in 1L bottle (& re-fill from a 5L bottle as this is much cheaper) this will allow easy filling down the dip stick tube. Don't forget to adjust the fluid level after it is hot. Although this can be frustrating to get it just right it does have a marked affect on gear change points.

Good luck!

Thanks for the help. :thumbs HP fuel line it might have to be.
