I've been given a set for free by James when I went to the farm to pick up some bits :thumb2

Thing is I'm unsure how they attach to the car, both already appear to have had some kind of adhesive strip on them that looks like it came from the factory with however, I'm unsure of where they actually attach to

Do I have to open the window and slot them in there? That looks the most likely way

Does anyone have any pictures of a 3dr with Deflectors on?

I have two types the ones that sit in the glass slot at the top (they have a a flat profile to sit against the glass) the other sticks on so is slightly larger and does not have the long leg near the mirror and the top edge is slightly curved to match the door curve, best method if you have these is clear silicone, Rick

Top man!!! I rang James and asked him what these came off and how they were attached whilst I was on my lunch, he confirmed they were the stick on type with the leg that sticks behind the mirror cover

I think I have some black sealant from when I stuck my wing trim to my new wing after it was sprayed

If you havn't stuck them on yet I would use 3mVHB (very high bond) double sided tape. No mess and there not the easiest things to hold in position while the silicone cures. I think the last roll I got was about £16 for a 12mm x 30m roll off ebay. Its the stuff the chrome car badges are stuck on with.:thumb2

Mine are held on with double sided tape and clips that push up into the top of the window channel.

That's what the ones I had on my SWB where held on with which were fitted to the outside of the door & after 3 years they were still stuck fast:D The ones i've got on my LWB are the in window channel type
