Shouldn't be:thumb2 but if it bothers you, you could always fill the dent with fibreglass compound & a skim of body filler then paint it

On mine I can jack anywhere on either sill , anywhere on front bumper and anywhere on the back bumper :D
For you lesser mortals you can stick the arm at the top of the wheel and jack it up "CAREFULLY" with a strop through the wheel.
Then you throw a small landie lover under it :lol
Seroiusly though these things are trouble, be very careful when using them. Prepare your truck for them. Remember also they're called HI-LIFT because a lifted truck must be lifted a hell of a lot higher than you think for the axle flex to be overcome.
Sill rock sliders

Front bumper has 2 specific hi-lift points too

Back end bumper hi-lift anywhere

I only put mine in the car when we are off-roading, or in the Snow. I just use it to lift a wheel and stick stuff under it to get it on something solid... much prefer a trolley jack for normal lifting.

As Makeitfit says, they are not very safe, and you would not want to work on a car, or even change a tyre with it up on one, as they move way to much, and do not take a lot to knock them off of centre.

You can also use them as a puller, so with a strap, you can use it to move the car, even if it is very slow, and only 3'6" at a time:nenau

Do make sure you read up on them, and keep the mechanism clean and lubricated, there have been some nasty accidents with them.

Right I've solved it :D

I've just brought a "LiftMate" and I'll also make sure I've always got an Axle Stand in the car with me :D easy peasey

Don't forget you'll also need something to put under the foot to spread the load. Offroad you may end up just pushing the jack into the ground
I use an old waffle board, works a treat :thumbs

Good point :) I'll find something suitable :D

You can change a wheel with a hi-lift, just don't get any body part under the vehicle. Just got to be very careful.

Your also meant to chock the vehicle when jacking up, Makes it much more stable.

Something else to be careful off, As you jack up the angle of the jack changes and can make the foot start slipping towards you and potentially kick out.
