To mount onto the spare wheel you would have to ditch your spare wheel cover & make up a strong mount. I was going to mount one onto the side of the roofrack on my last T2 but their not light to lift down:augie I ended up not getting one due to having no where on a T2 where I could lift it:doh

You can get a Lift Mate, and it gives you 2 hooks which hook onto your wheels, and creates a lift point there... Perfect, as you directly lift the stuck wheel.
