certainly is, but its one of the first things i tried. i read that over time, the magnets also lose thier strength, and does the wire. the wires have a very poor resistance, wher eits supposed to be 900ohms, they are somert like 1400. the problems occur when the car is hot (so yes, the sensor isnt totally failed, cos the car starts) but i did read that ckps FAIL, WHEN THE car is hot, so this fits my symptoms.
i pick up a new sensor this afternoon, and i will be approx £200 poorer but if it does it, i'll be ecstatic! i remain neutral though, because i do have one other fault to resolve...
