I am going to fix mine by screwing a piece of 15mm MDF to the bottom of the fridge that is a force fit to the opening of the box and taper the sides so it just sorta plugs in:clap

Id like to rip the whole unit out and rebuild from mdf.
I don't know how easy it would be to relocate the window switches though.
