yes , it was too low before.
plus i wanted more storage space for sunglasses etc

It now needs a refrigeration unit in it.Lol.

Fancy making me one and posting it? What kind of price we talking?

i made it out of some scrap 18mm ply wood that i had,

you need 2 pieces 150mm x 150mm ( front and back )
2 pieces 150mm x 160mm,( sides ),
you can make it shorter than 150mm if you want

screw it together to make a rectangle box (with no top or bottom)
stick some trim fabric on ( using spay glue ) you can get this from flebay

remove lid from arm rest,
place your new " box" in place, fix with a couple of metal brackets straightened out,
finally put existing lid back on using the same screws

love it. :clap One thing that bugs me on these is no arm rest. And what's there is too low :doh
Inside it's full of melted sweets 2p's and fuses from previous owner. It does'nt get used.

Thats great:thumb2. Think i could do one similar for the Trol as my armrest is too low. I shall investigate tommorow

you could make one any size you want,
it did n`t take long to make

I am going to fix mine by screwing a piece of 15mm MDF to the bottom of the fridge that is a force fit to the opening of the box and taper the sides so it just sorta plugs in:clap
