As I've posted before I have this dam Samsung Galaxy S3 that's been nothing but a pain in the backside.

Well today my son flattened it and stuck clean version of android on it. Now the thing won't sync with kies or outlook so Ive lost contacts the flipping lot.

I hate phones:doh

I am pretty basic when it comes to tech, I'm a nut and bolt guy, I switched from Samsung Galaxy to a Nokia lumia and wow such a great easy to use phone.. Try one out.. A lot of people don't like Nokia but I love it.

I loved the old nokias, far superior well built phones. Never used a windows phone but put by the similarities in looks to windows 8. If I could stop buying cars I'd get my self an iphone but sadly I keep buying cars so stuck with this flipping phone. I really don't want to enter into a contract so stuck with this thing. It was dog slow as a standard samsung phone despite me resetting back to factory. Now I've got a plain copy of android lollypop with no bloatware which sounds until you realise there's no titles under the icons. S planner that I used won't be there of course. Thought google account was supposed to back up but doesn't look like it. I backed it up using samsung kies and also synced contacts to outlook. Sadly now samsung kies says it's not a Samsung and outlook doesn't do anything but then again kies synced up to outlook.

So all my phone numbers will have to be typed in manually.

Off to find a corner to sulk.

I'd like to come up with a good solution. ..

...but I can't, sorry.

I reckon that if you've had kies working that it's been borked from day 1.

Got a Samsung S3 and S3 mini, no worries with either and they are both standard format, used hard and never given a day's problem.....:nenau
