Sorry, forgot to ask, would these be okay on standard T2 15" steel rims ?

rims

ive got 7j aftermarket rims on mine but as far as i'm aware they will fit on standard rims.what size tyres have you got on at the mo are they 215/75/15's as your truck looks the same as mine and they were the standard size.i know they changed to 235/75/15 in 1996 on these trucks.
will have a set of kumho kl71 muds for sale when i do get my new ones on.only done 1000miles or so.

Hello Elty, I've currently got 215 R15's fitted to standard Maverick alloy wheels. No 2 tyres are the same, and the alloys are starting to corrode. I've got a set of 15" T2 steels that I'm going to refurbish for the new tyres.

What size are the KL71's mate, and what will you be asking for them ? Have you got 5 ?

Lee.

tyres

have only got 4 as they are a directional tread pattern so i keep the spare universal.

was gonna let them go for £120ish.they are 235/75/15.

Are all of the tyres in good condition, and when will you be getting your new ones ?

Lee.

condition

all in great condition with no sidewall damage or uneven wear.as i said they have only done about 1000 miles.fitted them in late august of this year.only done a few off road trips with them on,nothing extreme only green laning.mainly road miles when we went on holiday as i dont use the motor that much as i only work up the road.was hoping to get my new ones as soon as my mrs gives me some cash as they are my crimbo pressie from her

Hello Elty,

our terrano has them, crap on fuel but not too noisey.... good grip in the mud and rock climbing

How badly have/did they drop your MPG :?:

only 3-4 mpg but on a td a little lost is a lot

Sorry Elty, forgot to add, I've got family in Warwickshire that could collect, as it's not too far from you.

maxxis tyres

well i took the plunge and ordered a set of maxxis buckshot mudders today.should have them in 3-4 days time so will hopefully be fitted by the weekend all being well. thanks to everybody for their input/advice.just need to get the new release bearing fitted then its time to hit some of the rough stuff.my mate has just bought a lwb vitara so i might see how many times he can get it stuck up at bonsal moor in derbyshire.

buckshot mudders

hi fellas have had my maxxis buckshot mudders for a couple of months now and i can say i dont think you will be dissappointed they are of american origin if thats anything to go by they are not retreads or remoulds so theres a bonus and i think they are a good price got mine for £235.00 x 4 free delivery fitted for free by a mate of mine. they look even better in the (flesh) rubber than on the photos. hope your as happy with yours as i am with mine.

ps the size i put on my terrano were 235/70/r15 alloy rims

regards Big-John
