Anyone remapped their T2?

Local firm say they can get the old girl to 157bhp and the economy will increase too, I'm not looking massive power but a bit more grunt for towing would be nice, I'm funny with electronic stuff and it all seems a bit too good to be true.

id say it is unrelistic as the ecu on these is no programmable best thing you can do is pm ray for a maf amp iv orderd one it wont increase bhp but improves low down grunt etc and its plug and play do a search lots of info on here

only because i dont believe the fuel map can be reprogrammed im fitting a maf amp from ray

Bosch MAF'd Terrano ECU's should be able to take a reflash.

Map power uk did mine, 25 percent increase in power and torque. Needs to be Bosch ECU. Eproms replaced. Awesome difference posted on here before about it, do a search. Well worth the money :naughty

When I was warming up my engine I couldn't get anyone to tweak my ecu. So I did it old skool stylee :sly Bigger turbo, more cold air and a good old dose of LPG :naughty Loads of grunt :freak3:

Got my 2004 remapped last year cost £150 but had to fit high flow filter as was over fueling now goes like fook and will go up most hill's in top gear.

Same here also has any one noticed the t2 some go like s of a shovel or some laid back newer terrano is a little slower than my older one to pick up ones a 1996 and one a 1999

K & N air fikter 28 kwid on eBay, needed this as the car was over fueling so as we all know more fuel needs more air and it worked a treat as the car was sometimes going into limp mode . The remap has given the car a lot more torque so I can now use higher gears at lower revs therefore saving fuel. I'll get the number tomorrow:thumb2 as for location its Pontypridd just outside of cardiff about 20min off M4. HAPPY DAYS
