Went to replace the indicator bulb today....but it's not the bulb. The wire in the pic has come off and shortly after taking the pic and wondering how to get enough play/ access on the loom to repair it, the other wire blooming well came off:doh

I was being ultra gentle as well, so can only surmise the wires have rusted or something... it was all pretty dirty and covered in dry mud in there.

Anyway, can anyone help? Does anyone have one I could buy or is it something I can order from somewhere?

And if and when I do get one, reconnecting /fitting it... is it going to be as tedious as it looks? Am I going to have to take grill and bumper and stuff off for access?

Any help gratefully received. Oh, here's what I'm on about...

yep got loads of those, pm me your name and address and I will pop one in the post with plenty of wire on it, if you use krimp connectors like the one in the pic fill it with grease (silicon is best) before pushing the wires in, then it will not rot the wires, Rick

Re grease, I have used vaseline, or waxoyl, if silicon grease is not available.:thumb2

Copper slip is what goes on mine, despite it's name I have not found it to be conductive. Mind you I pack towbar sockets with ordinary lithium grease. I guess anything that is water repellent should be ok.

Thanks, chaps.

I'll have a look to see what's available in the shed or, ahem, the bathroom :lol
