if youd asked a week or so ago you would have had a choice but we have literally just had a clear out (one of the things about being off on the sick all those little jobs get done )

Its pay & go of course but you can stick your own sim in if youre on contract...........sorted

If youre willing to take vouchers (I took debenhams the missus took m&s ....surprise surprise ) you generally get more than selling them on ebay.

definitely the case for her old blackberry and my e71 then a quick trip to the shop of choice during the sale and stocked up on t shirts and shorts for hols ....simples

should add they dont take all phones, my former pride and joy from several years back , a nokia 3510i , was worth a big fat round zero :nenau

Extreme, did you get a phone? I should have a few phones but they are all vodafone (ie) and it would take me a week or so to get one shipped over to you from here (S. Ireland). But if you can get a vodafone phone to work for you and can wait a week or so then I should be able to get one for you free of charge.

most phones can be unlocked . ie open to all networks , some phone shops only charge a tenner or so for this , but its a great idea if people have any old phones they dont want , to send to bat .:thumb2

Briggie, thanks for that. I wouldn't be in a position to ship some mobile to Bat but might be able to ship one to a member of the site if they were stuck.

I've got some unlocked phones two basic ring & text jobs & a Symbian powered Samsung that needs a new plastic lens cover on the screen.
Failing that look for a local CEX (Computer Exchange) shop you'll get a cheap used unlocked phone there with 12 months warranty.

yes i got one thanks to zippy.... trouble is now i got a virus on the laptop, and its got all my court stuff on it ..... so really stuffed . i think i emailed most of the items to other people for advise . so most is rescuable hopefully
