Morning folks.

I ordered four tyres from these guys last Friday. Got a pretty good price, but the domain is a bit misleading. It is a UK registered website, but based out of Germany.

I have a GLS tracking number, but the parcel has been "inbound to GLS Location" for around 30 hours. I could have gone and picked them up and got home in that time, if I had tyres!

Do any of you chaps have any experience with these? Is it that the French courier is just lazy?

No experience with them, but not very good experiences with GLS. They always were slow, and one time lost my order. Even claimed I signed at my home address, while I was at work :). Only lost time then, the seller of the item refunded me as I was not the only one with that complaint.

Domain is not misleading, they are indeed a UK shop, but owned by a German 'umbrella' company. They have webshops all over the place: http://www.cpreifentrading.com/en/shops/.

Why not contact them, and ask what's up?

They are only contactable via an online ticketing system, and will not entertain enquiries until 8 working days have passed since ordering.

I've tried emailing the courier, as the difficulty seems to be with them. It should have been scanned at another depot yesterday morning, but hasn't yet. I'd be impressed (and very annoyed) if they've managed to "misplace" a stack of 4 MT tyres.

Formersmurf, there's no end to incompetence. I hope they arrive soon!

Tyre sources.

I wanted Goodyears for my Jeep best deal I got was F1 Autocentres cheaper than at trade through work. Just watch out for them charging the earth for tracking.

After my email to the French courier office, the tyres are due for delivery to my office today. It looks like their system didn't register a few scans here and there, so hopefully with me today and fitted over the weekend...

The ParcelFarce depot is half a mile away, so they still have a good chance to lose them.

Well the new shoes have arrived, Parcelfarce subbed out the delivery to a strange man in a white van.
So Tyreleaders.co.uk are pretty good, competitive pricing and good stock, it's just the couriers that let the process down. Saying that, 6 day turnaround for 4 shoes ain't too bad, just ropey communication.

Now, to get them fitted & balanced....
