anti roll bar bushes

anyone know why there are 8 different sizes of front anti roll bar bushes for sale on ebay, but milners/nussan4u/ksi only list one size ? Measured my replacement arb at 29mm od, and the old one at 27. I'm guesing the oem single size rubbers are "stretch to fit" ?

there are at least two different front roll bar diameters, cant think of the numbers but Mk 1 was smaller than Mk 2 but when I went to Nissan for spares they only list one, so it is not that important, Rick

hi rick, i bought the ebay ones with the same diameter, they are poly bush type thimgs so maybe they dont have the same "give" as oem rubber :nenau

As long as they go over the ARB and when fitted the ARB is not sloppy, then you will be fine, the only ARB bushes I have had to replace were due to oil contamination, went all gooey, Rick

the right hand one was defi tely contaminated with oil , or more likely diesel from the smell. The left hand one had been doing all the work by the looks of ut and was also knackered.
Cars gone now, but a mates got it so ill still be on here probably.
