Don't bin em on road mate.
You've raised your suspension now I guess so really the drop links need extending too.
That said, has the bolt part snapped or just popped and lost the rubber ?
You could try the big washer trick. So put a stainless washer each side of each bush :naughty

Your missing a metal clip thing to hold the rubber boot onto external part of the CV. hence why grease has come out and probably water and crap gone in it if it's been like that a while.

Check it quicksharp, A zip tie will suffice to stop more crap getting in.

Yup spot on, the clip is missing it seems. The techs reckon they will have something kicking about, and will see if they can pump a bit of grease in at the same time. Lovely dudes :thumb2

See if you can get some poly bush versions AND some big washers. The rubber gets mushed as it's "eaten" by the hole in the wishbone
It's also under a lot more load as the suspension is now 2" further away than it was, if you see what I mean.

I used to volunteer to go into work to help with "Stock Taking" :augie

The best part was, if they had mixed bins of nuts and bolts, they scraped them...:augie cost too much to count and separate them.
So I volunteered to dispose of them... eventually...

Theyve already done it, they married it up to a shockie bush we have here.

its a temp fix anyway.

Im looking at milners offroading poly ones, theyre only £12, has anyone used these before? :nenau

anyone remember how much BigBunny's ones were?

Had Milners poly bushes on my last T2 & well be fitting them on this one as all of my ARB bushes are on their way out:doh last time I fitted poly bushes they were still in perfect condition after 2 years unlike normal drop link bushes which split after a couple of months

Just ordered a pair from Bigbunny, £40 + p&p!

Alex, you can use a longer bolt and a couple of lock nuts to effectively extend the rose jointed drop link. That way the ARB will still be in the std position and not stressed out at 2" below it's norm.
