t2 been in for the dreaded today, garage said needed 4 bushes, front drop links and i believe rear arb bushes or equiv. let them do it, as not the weather or have the time
tbh. said was in great condition for a 13 year old. damage £160 + vat all in, reasonable??
reckon few hours worth in a warm garage to do em.

Hi,
mines in for the retest tomorrow after failing, had to do the ARB drop links on mine (common i believe), as well as afew other bits and pieces. in all honesty i wouldnt recommend working on em in this cold. got there i think, will know tomorrow morning.ide say pay the money, it dont seem to bad aprice at all.
good luck Wayne

I would definitely just get the garage to do it. Far too cold to be getting too keen. Doesn't seem a bat price either. Mine has front and rear drop links for the last MoT, just before I bought it.

Lee.

I was supposed to be changing the clutch slave cylinder on the galaxy today but its just too cold. I went down my mates garage last nught and booked it in there instead. For £150 its worth it i'm sure.

got my baby back. £230 including test @ £40 and vat.

seems 4 hour job took 7, biiled for 4 plus they broke £40
of their warranted tools ouch. funnycos i never felt a
thing till entered my pin code.

From that it has been money well spent:thumb2 sounds like they had alot of fun doing it:lol:lol but just think how cold & sore your knuckles would have been:rolleyes:

indeed recall rebushing a rangie, dont know if same format but they were swines. had to burn em out or assemble hacksaw thru the centre and cut segments out. mind my mum
still says what great chew toys they were for the dogs, lasting several years instead
of the few minutes the offerings from the pet shop lasted.
