I've just picked the Terrano tonight and done a 50 mile test drive home and all seems ok,

Now i've got it i am hoping to do a lot of the servicing work myself, so what is the best engine oil and what viscosity should i use??

Its a 1996 Terrano 2.7.

Hello krazykayaker,

I use Shell Rimula X 15w/40

I would stick to a good quality normal not synthetic oil changed at regular intervals of 6000 miles and don’t go for the thinner energy saving oils

Cheers for the reply

wheres the best place to get spares from

with my daihatsu i use Milners off road, is that as good a place as any or is there a better Terrano spares stockists?

You will be able to get bits from Milners but i've found my local parts shop can be cheeper at times depending on what your after
