Hi,

Another newbie here from Cheshire. Just dropped in to say hello. Bought an 05 2.7 manual Terrano today and hope it turns out to be a good vehicle (first one). Looks like a great forum with lots of great advice. Craig

Welcome!

It's not often I get in first, you'll find plenty of help on here. There's all the Nissan workshop manuals for help, and lots of members "how to " guides for the most common problems, although you would have to part with a tenner to access them and search the forums. As many, including myself, can attest you'll save way more than a tenner in advice and garage costs.

So come on in and get comfortable. There'll be others along shortly, and as I got in first...

...PICTURES !!!!!

Let's see ya truck.

:thumbs

Welcome.......yes a tenner.........and some pictures...:thumb2

Thanks for the warm welcome @emjaybe looks like I'm going to have to part with £10 then ! 😁

Worth every penny. My fuel lines sprang a leak. Garage said £180. The guys on here said "do it yourself".

£40 and an afternoon under the truck on ramps. Job done.

Then there was the brake drums, seat belts, wiring questions etc. It'll be the most value for money tenner a year you ever spend.

It's not just truck related help either. You name it! They've even been known to relay an eBay purchase from up north to the south coast.

I'm not sure I should mention the jokes. Look out for Briggie!

:doh

How do & welcome.
Yes we require pics :D
Yes the tenner is well worth it :thumb2

Welcome mate, pics is easy if they are not to big, once you are in the post screen you will see a paper clip icon, click on that and follow the prompts, or if big (memory wise or more than one) then upload them to photo bucket and post a linky, Rick

Good lad for paying your subs, and ask away if you have any questions, I'm not going to bore with babble but you'll soon realise what a place this is, our members are some of the best people I've ever had the pleasure to meet in my life :bow

Thanks again guys ! Banshee it works out at £309 monthly tax, so not to bad. Yeah she looks nice but already got problems though !!! Won't cold start this morning :( hope it's not the start of things to come.

Will be an easy fix mate!!!!

I presume you're running it on straight Diesel? Reason I ask is because so of us run ours on Cooking Oil :naughty

Did you allow the glow plug light to illuminate and then go out before attempting to start? I always allow mine to go out but if you wait for a further 10-15 seconds you'll hear the glow plug relay click indicating that the glow plugs are no longer getting power. I always wait for the click. Annoyingly Nissan mounted the relay in between the inner wing and outer wing and picks up loads of road crap that can rot the conenctor and terminals of the relay, I had to repair mine not too long ago.

When it did finally start, was it lumpy idling until warm?
