Another key fob question

My T2 key fob has not worked since I bought the car, so far I have..

Changed the battery in the key, no good.
Bought a new key fob of ebay, another new battery, no good.

I do the reprogram bit, 6 times from off-on, I get the 2 indicators flashing twice.

Then I do the hold unlock (press lock 3 times) and let go of unlock, but I do not get any indicator lights flashing at all.

Any ideas people ?

i guess that the fob is nackered or it has different hz to yours. sounds like you are doing it right and getting the flashes but its not accepting it.
did you buy a good battery? some of the chinese ones i have bought in the past are shit.

Yeah the battery is good, oh well, the alarm doesn't work anyway, I think they disconnected the horn for the alarm because the flashers blink on and off but no audio alarm.
