my heater only worked on high speed no 4, i asked my local garage who said a common fault on nissans, i need a new heater motor its probably on its way out, said its a major job megabucks in labour, its hardly worth the bother on an old vehicle.:doh i said i`ll live with it, ive since joined this owners club which has proved dividends,:thumb2 i found a fix in the downloads section on how to repair it, so today i tried my luck, i purchased a soldering kit from our local german budget foodstore for 7 quid, and after rolling around in the n/s footwell like pregnant walrus removed the offending part.:jesterbg quick fix later and another wrestle to get it back together, everything is working great, and i had a 45 minute workout to boot. 10/10 the best tenner ive spent in ages was joining this club, count me in for next years subscription. thanks to all for their advise and help in ironing out my problems Andy.:beer

I think that was my 1st fix as well, found my footwell was somewhat smelly too! Probably due to the common leak I had that I also found out how to fix from here. Definitely worth every penny this place! :thumb2

nice one mate. now, go back to the garage, and show them what you did. red faces. :thumbs

It's annoying when garages do that. You take a car because it has a little dent on the wing and thay say the whole side of the car is needing changed and say I high labour rate:rolleyes:

YOU USED MY FIX! Yippy, im so excited i helped someone else out. Its great to get help and advice on here but even better when you put together a Fixit for the down load section, and even better still when you know someone else have used it.

Im now going to have a beer and bask in my own glory. :lol
