Hi 550 CCA far too low, you need a minimum 700 CCA, my earlier one was closer to 850 CCA that was a prestige Platinum, 95Ah and that lasted 7 years.

You need the biggest one that will fit in the space available, mine is 95 Ah 700 CCA Yuasa model 334,

Good luck,
best regards,
Rustic

Fellow members... we are slipping :doh

We have a new member and it has taken just over an hour to respond to his initial question.

OK he had 2 responses in that time..... :thumb2

How can we expect him to pay his full £10 membership, if we are taking that long to respond..... :lol:lol:lol:lol:lol

Anyway welcome to the club, we can suggest repairs and upgrades to these trucks that the main dealers would walk away from, or charge you a fortune.
£10 well spent..
I have fixed problems I never knew I had.

Best regards, Rustic :thumb2

But I see where you're coming from.:naughty[/QUOTE]

Actually he has posted 249 posts, so not as new a member as I first thought, so we shouldn't have to beat ourselves up about it.:doh

My error oops!:bow:bow

Ha, lick your own battery now then :p

A 9 volt battery is bad enough, I sometimes test those on my tongue...

But 12volts starts to hurt.....:lol:lol

Good job those battery terminals are far apart, anyway there is a risk of lead poisoning.:doh

I run my terrano on two 1.5V AA Batteries. Works fine:lol:lol:lol
