Back in the good old US of A for the second time this year.

Managed to get myself a cheap direct (Newcastle to Orlando) flight. (Cost me £358 return)

I had reserved a 'Full-Size' Pick-Up with the rental company and they had the cheek to give me this...

It's a Honda Ridgeline.

They said that they had nothing else in the lot that they could swap it with.

This morning when I got up, I rang around a couple of the rental car offices close by to see if they could do a vehicle swap for me.

One hour later and a $65 refund for my trouble and I got this beauty!

Better yet, they said I could also return it on an empty tank! (So that will be me pushing it the last 100 yards!) :lol

Nice, I had the predecessor to that, 5.7 hemi and I loved it shame it wasn't 4x4

American cars look great in the States, but ridiculous in this country. However I followed a Mustang this morning.... The boss will never allow it as a company car...

Looks great, mind you the hondapants looked ace too.
Have a great holiday mate.

Nice pal. Can we be expecting a vid or 2 showing some gas guzzling burn outs :D

Good news... Today I got a delivery while I'm out here!

Really looking forward to getting these beauties fitted to the patrol! :naughty

Enjoy it mate. Air horns look like they will be hilarious :lol

Thanks lads!

I can't wait to get them all fitted up! :naughty

I don't know why, but I love gassing up out here!

A Texas plated truck 3 states away. Guess someone needed to drive home.

My only gripe with America is that it's full of Americans & I find them irritating :lol :lol

Have a good trip :thumb2 :thumb2

It's my last day! :(

Managed to squeeeeeeze the horns into my case, Tank and compressor are in the post back to myself!

But no cowboy out fit is complete without a pair of Wrangler jeans!

There's a night launch tonight of a Falcon 9 rocket... So I'm hoping for good weather and a clear sky so that it goes ahead as planned!

I'm absolutely thrilled to say that we made it to a nighttime launch and saw a Falcon 9 take to the sky! It was worth the wait!

This is a picture from the night... Not my own I will add! I decided not to take any video footage or photos of it, as I've viewed enough of them on screen and just wanted to be in the moment!

I waved goodbye to my Florida home, knowing I will be back there in 34 weeks!

It was time to head back to the airport and drop off the rental Truck. They agreed because of the mess up with the trucks at the start of the holiday, that I could take this one back on an empty tank... So I really did!

You can see that the fuel gauge needle is well below the empty mark and where it says “Low Fuel” is usually a countdown of miles left in the tank... That hit ZERO 8 miles from the Airport! :naughty

All in all, it was an awesome holiday, the train horns made it back in one piece and I elegy await a letter from customs about my Compressor & Air Tank! :lol

Unfortunately, it's now back to reality!

Were your bum cheeks clenched for those last 8 miles :lol

Good to see you had a great time :thumb2 :thumb2

What's the attraction over there anyway. I've always wanted to go, but I've had my fill of Americans in the past.
I'd go if I didn't have to see or hear them :lol

:lol I've worked with Americans in the past too.. But I still kinda like em!

I dunno, I just love the country, but above and beyond that... There's a girl! :doh
