Alternator for 2.4 petrol

Anyone had to get a new alternator for a 2.4 petrol, mines died and I'm having trouble finding a replacement at reasonable cost. They're different to the diesel ones by the way.

ebay is the only place I can think of :roll: Could a higher out put one of say a transit be made to fit :? The only reason i've mentioned it is IIRC you were thinking of running a twin battery set & poss fitting a winch in the future & thought it may save you a few pennies

TBH at the moment I just want one on, anything bigger would be difficult to get in and out as it was a job on removing this one without dismantling alf the engine. TBH I'm after a new truck too so don't really want to spend any more than necessary to keep this one on the road.

Just found this one on ebay & at the price I should keep you going untill you get your new motor :smile: BTW will the new one be getting the same sort of mods as the one you have now :roll:

If your not bothered about it being new HB you could always give Nissan 1st a phone or Just Nissan!!

Might be listed as 2.4 petrol but that one is for a diesel - its even got the vacumn pump on the back. Don't know how I'd missed it though as have scoured ebay.

BTW will the new one be getting the same sort of mods as the one you have now

no worries have emailed him to check as he's listed more than one, might just have been being lazy with the photos as he's used the same one for each.

Hi HB I saw another member advertising his 2.4 petrol for breaking on here a few days ago.
Give him a shout "priorperformance" member tag.
So any news on those springs yet?
