Alternator Belt Warning

Broke the alternator belt last night not a nice thing on the Mistral as the warning lights come on then a short time later no brakes as such and the buzzer comes on when you put your foot on the brake pedal. Takes a bit to pull up without full power/ boost on the brakes

Nothing like using the handbrake to stop and am I forgot to keep the old alternator belt for a spare

Good news though, I had a spare power steering belt which fits the alternator with a bit of a push. back on the road after a bit of swearing.

Check your belts and keep the spares stocked up
