Oh nearly forgot.

I don't know :nenau :nenau

I don't do German (like everyone else). The Merc G-spot is one ugly mother f....r

I like the extra height with the truck, but defo need more power sometimes
We used a 2006 Disco when I was a service engineer & I quite liked that to drive. Fairly rapid for a big motor & if driven nicely, not bad on the juice :thumb2

Okay it splitting hairs but the G wagon it's not German they are built in Austria except full AMG petrol versions perhaps. They might be a bit of a shoe box square design but you are unlikely to ever see 2 in any one car park outside of London.

From the inside the G Wagon reminds me a bit of Landy with home made interior trims!

We had one of those as our wedding car...

Super Cool!!!

It had all the toys, as we drove off road, he pressed a button on the dash, and all the tyres lowered their pressure to about 6PSI, then when we were finished and back on the Highway, another button pumped them all back up again with out ever stopping.

My big problem (& one the reasons I bought my present one) is finding something as narrow as the Terrano. Apart from my previous Frontera (same width), everything is 100mm+ wider so I wouldn't be able to get out in my driveway !
Memories of having to use the rear exit in my daughter's Disco still haunt me LOL.
Hopefully it will outlast my driving days if rust doesn't kill it first.

Widen the driveway ?

Widen the driveway ?

If only that were at all possible. Think my neighbour might have something negative to say about that! This house was built in 1964 & the designers obviously thought we would all own minis, hence max. 7ft (2.1M) driveways. The only car I've owned that was easy to get out off, in the driveway, was a Bond 875 (Imp based 3 wheeler). I doubt I could even get into that anymore LOL.
I drool over properties that have loads of space ............ wide drives, wide garages...........drool, drool.

Get drooling mick I have a huge drive, the whole of the front garden is block paved parking and a car port the length of the house. Have a garage but sadly it's too full of crap to use.
Now years resolution get the garage cleared!

That's all my garage is good for LOL.
Forgot to mention that I have to back down the drive so as to get my side as close to the wall as possible, & the get out of the passenger door! At least it's slightly easier being an auto, but I've still scraped the front wings several times.

The actual gap between gates is 6ft8ins (1.99m); I've just measured it!

Tooooo much effort but I like his style :thumbs

Mind you he's lucky that his steering wheel is on the wrong side, how convenient :lol

Ditto Jim :thumb2 I can get 3 vehicles on the drive (have to whisper this part so as micktheshed can't hear) & a 30m sq garage :D :augie
