Maverick went in for a new water pump today and while it was there got them to give it a service , change the oil in the gearbox and axles and flush the engine and replace the coolant. As always they tightened up all the loose nuts and bolts they found.
Driving home the car feels strange , gone are all the little rattles and knocks . The engine sound is quite, the gear change is positive and the whole car feels really tight.
Oh and the engine warning light has stayed off ;O)
It's probably how it was when I bought it 12 years ago ,funny how over time you don't notice things changing.
Not a cheep day but worth every penny.
Got a few greenlanes and fun days planned so lets see how long it lasts ;O)
