my wife took the maverick 2.4 petrol of to work got about 3 miles and found that the
car was losing power and came to a stop turned of the engine tried to start it.
The alarm would not go off . key fob would not turn it off or trying to startm it. She had to be re covered home when the breakdown chap tried to start it would not go and had to disconect the battery to stop the alarm.
I have had alook at the car and the alarm is on a fob but it turns on two alarms (fitted when i got it )one under
the bonnet that i think i can get to no prob the other is under the dash but i have no
idea were it it is. Any ideas were to look and what it looks like .Two sensors in cab o/s and n/s eye level.

Hi Pete, are they some kind of after market alarm or factory/dealer fitted from new.

Bin the alarm, bloody anti-social things. Waste of space
