alarm not working ???

hi all i have a problem my key fobs lock and unlock the doors and lights flash as i lock and unlock the doors but i can not get the alarm to go off if i open the door i get no flashing lights and no sound from the alarm any of you have an idea why this is please :thumb2

Brian ,have you cheked the fuse.... 10Amp I think. David.

start by checking the interior lights go on and off correctly with all the doors, this sounds like a faulty door switch, Rick

thanks for the replys the interior lights work fiine fuses look ok and as i say the key works fine indecators flash as i lock and unlock the doors its just the indecators dont flash and no sound from the alarm as it never sets off even if a brake in to the car

get inside the car - activate the alarm and wait 30 seconds. then put the key in the ignition and switch thie ignition on. This should activate the alarm. if the indicators flash and there is no sound check the wiring on the siren.:thumb2

done this and more the alarm dose not go off or lights flash

alarm horn is inside body, ahead of fuel filler. perhaps disconnected

when it sounds it echos off the bodywork.

yes i get that but the indicators are not flashing like the alarm as gone off its as if the alarm is not connected but if i lock or unlock the car with the nats fob the indicators do flash so this makes me think it must be connected :nenau
