alarm/horn not sounding

Hi everyone I am a new member and new to all this so treat me gently ok.
So here goes the problem is on my T2 lwb I tested the alarm on it just to see if it worked ok and all that happenned was the indicators flashed there was no audiable sound.
I looked under the bonnet of the car but could not see a separate horn so does the alarm sound through the cars own horn as this works when you press the steering wheel but not when the alarm is activated can anyone shed any light on this and maybe give me some idea what to look for to fix it.

no horn

the horn for my alarm is at the rear drivers side somewhere.not actually seen it but thats where the noise comes from when the alarm is set off.

Alarm horn is apparently behind the drivers side panel in the boot. My alarm horn doesn;t work, someone has said that the cable into the alarm horn is fragile, and just needs a repair.

THANX CHAPS FOUND THE ALARM HORN AND IT WAS AS YOU SAID WHERE IT WOULD BE AND WOT WAS WRONG (LOOSE BROKEN WIRE) TRIED TO RESOLDER BUT WOULDNT AV IT SO HAD TO BUY ANOTHER ONE FROM SCRAP YARD A NORMAL CAR HORN WHICH FITTED A TREAT AND DOES THE JOB BRILLIANTLY AGAIN MANY THANXS.......B-J
