AIRCON NOT WORKING

Aircon not working.checked belt and looked around cannot see anything. I am going to have the gas checked, is there anyyhing else to look out for? 8O

You may have a leak in the system. Kwik Fit will regas and not charge if it don't cure the fault. Others have tried the aerosol DIY type refills but you can over fill and damge the system even further. Also check your pollen filter.
Just out of interest what makes you think it's not working? If your expecting the cooling fan at the front of the car to run it rarely does run. When mines on tick over you can hear the engine revs change when the AC cuts in and out.

Check and see if your compressor is kicking in if the gas is low it will not start, try chris at autokool he has a web site.

Had the same problem when I put my A/C on dide'nt work. Had it re-gased today by my local garage took harlf an hour. He told me that it was because of lack of use and you should run your A/C for 5-10 mins at least once a month
