Aircon fan

Just wondering got mine regassed the other day but when aircon on the fan in front of the condenser never come on is this normal. Also shite fit said they had done a pressure test for leaks and they lied as condenser Is leaking so need a new one

Don't kno it worked about 3 days then I seen the condenser was wet with oil

Check as I'm sure their warranty covers you several days after. Carefully doing DIY repairs as people say the gas that's left in system is nasty stuff

I will look at the recite he said he had used sealer in the system just in case as well

When I phoned KF on Friday prior to making the booking on line, they said yes it was free.
I asked how they could refund me, as I paid on line, they said that they have a procedure for that through customer services.

So Tuesday... we will see.

134a is fine, as long as you do not breath too much of it, and/or use a naked flame too near it, it is regularly used in a house to freeze pipes for plumbing repairs and that often means open flame soldering as well, done it for years, so not a problem, Rick

Kwick fit will refund, I had no problem in getting refunded, they don't pressure test, they just regas if it works great! if it dosnt they usally say they cant repair as the fitter is on holiday for 2 weeks, strange that, I have had that said to me twice over the years, and a friend has been told the same. I wish I had this fitters holidays as he is never there!
