Got in my Patrol the other day and heard something in the seat snap, found that it was sitting low on one side so took the seat out to have a look, found out it had broken a strut at the side of the seat.
I decided to take it to a friend to weld up the next day, I put the seat back in the car but did not reconnect the electrical plugs as they had been hard to part.
Had seat welded and replaced in car with all electricals reconnected however the airbags would not reset and the light kept flashing, even after disconnect battery for an hour, in the end took it to a garage who had to delete the code nearly a dozen times before it would reset.
So patrol owners do not drive with the airbag wires disconnected as the system is really not happy afterwards.
Kind regards
Russell.
