So as it says the airbag light is flashing. It once happened last year after I had been cleaning the car and our good old download section saved the day, sadly this time around it hasn’t worked. My wife has been driving it this week allegedly with nothing wrong, then Wednesday evening we were going out so she jumped in passenger side and lifted the seat handle whilst I slide the seat back. Not sure if that has upset an airbag but wouldn’t have thought so.

Anyhoo along with a thousand and one things to do this weekend I now have this little cookie to fix. Any ideas will be welcome but my first plan is to play with the connectors under the seats and try the reset again.

Yeh sounds like wiring dunnit, you'll get some suggestions though mate I bet loads of folks have suffered airbag probs, which truck is it?

Haven't had problems with my truck, and I believe its cause I don't let the missus drive it:lol:hide:
I only say that because our last 2 cars had this problem caused by sliding the drivers seat back and forth disturbing the wiring underneath.:thumb2

Blocky, that’s what I’ve been thinking. Had a quick feel under drivers seat tonight and feels like loads of wires so I’ll have to look in daylight.

Oh, best of luck with that Jim.
It's an electronic nest under the passenger seat.
Nissan couldn't fix mine, even with all the tech.
If guys like us on this forum didn't quietly plug away and sort these issues out amongst ourselves, Nissan would and should be seriously stuffed.
Apparently I've got moisture in my footwell affecting the loom.....:nenau.

Poor connections- & air bag safety!

Sounds like a poor connection under the seat did one on a Renault Clio after watching U-tube clip. Disconnected the battery, checked the under seat wiring loom, pliers on a couple of connectors. Battery back on and it was sorted. Be careful though you don't want to risk a discharging the air bag after battery disconnection you leave it for 20 minutes or so to make sure the capacitor has discharged.

That's caused by people wetting themselves through excitement sitting in your truck Davey boy :lol

I've heard the leak happens somewhere around wipers going through the bulkhead and soaking the sound deadening material.:nenau

following.

bought my 3L with it flashing, from a pal. Pretty sure had been to Nissan re recall
already.

just once I have reset it and cleared for few days, but then came back on.

Since then gone through reset and whilst got flash pattern to change and bac
still not clearing.

Waiting to see an auto-sparky, will have quite a list as rev counter died and
rear fog light issues.

i do now and again get the oil lanp stay on though but finding the yellow banded sencer is hard as everywhere only do normal one nissan said none in england wtf.

Fixed it, those connectors under drivers seat. Will wait until the better weather and then disconnect battery as previously said and check the actual terminals.
