Airbag light started flashing the other day and after trying the two options commonly found on the net with no success i.e. The ignition from the on position to acc position 3 times and also pressing the door switch light 7 times rapidly with the ignition on I tried another option which worked great.

Turn on the ignition and as immediately as the airbag light goes off switch the ignition completely off, do this a further 3 times then start the engine.
Done

Mines flashing, no luck with other methods so I thought I'd try this. It was only after turning my ignition on and waiting for light to come on that realised I had taken my other car to work today Dohhhh.

I have used the 3 times on ignition switch a few times and it always works for me, I find the airbag light comes on when I have been mooching around under the front seats.

With that in mind, my air bag light has never ever come on, even with the ignition.

Oh my 1995 Mav never had one.:doh

So not having airbags... does that make you drive slower? as the Picasso has got air bags... lots of them, and we do far greater mileage and at a greater speed than the Mav.

OR...

Is it that the Picasso does over twice the MPG as the Mav and I am a tight.. err... git?:lol:lol:lol I've been called worse...

Just recently had the same problem with my partners LWB Terrano.
Excellent garage near us and he found wire loose under passenger seat.

Fixed and light stays off. :clap
