Air scoop/snorkel

Bit of advise guys please , if I mounted an air scoop in the middle of the roof near to the back and run the hose inside the car up to the engine bay would it be as good as a standard snorkel or would the distance the air travels make it crap

Why do you need to go so far back? If you must go that far back then make it rigid pipe and over size. See my threads on it :thumbs

I have seen your scoop on the roof which looks good but I just didn't want the pipe running up the inside pillar thought if input it further back I could disguise the pipe a bit more.just throwing ideas around in my head at the moment,have got a supplier on the door step that does all the hoses etc

Pipe length is your enemy , hence over sizing it. You could take it along the floor and then up behind the front seats
Also remember, each bend effectivly adds another couple of feet of equivalent length :?

Mmmmm I know what your saying there,will have to mull this one over a while,body lift going on next weekend then snorkel and box section sills before next pay n play day then hopefully some bumper mods.will say this is a brill site great ideas and sound folk on it :bow:bow
