Right for the past week ive been having problems with air in the fuel system causing white cluds of smoke and rough running even. truggling to start.

So far ive changed the fuel filter I already have a short length of clear line eith side of the filter and can seeair coming in before the filter.
So today I replaced the fuel line from the tank right to the filter with one piece of fuel pipe but im still getting a lot of air in the system.

Im now thinking it is the fuel sender in the tank. So does anyone have a fuel sender unit for sale? Or does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?

It could be your fuel filter housing top

Link the fuel filter out completely

did you replace both fuel lines? there is a return pipe aswell

Yeah I actuallychanged that about 6 months ago due to aleak but only changed about half of it.

Could that cause air in the fuel?

Just a thought can you reverse the pipes on the sender unit eg. Put the feed on the return? Or would that cause issues?

I think the next plan for the morning is to run the feed straight from a jerry can to confirm the sender is at fault
