My point exactly-- you can't find most leaks by vacuuming. Please see para 2 of my previous post.
I must admit that I did not have nitrogen available so I used compressed air but I did leave the system under 28in HG for 48 hours to dry it out.

The output temp at the dashboard vents is now 3 to 4.5 degrees C. at 1500rpm with vent fan on third speed.

I'm loving it.

Vacuuming is not really designed to find leaks but to extract any moisture from the system, lower the pressure = lower the boiling point of water= vapour = the more you can get out of the system, the pressure differential between full vacuum and ambient air is 15 psi the system when operating with gas is 200 to 300 psi, if you really want to find a leak quick charge to 500 psi with nitrogen and listen, if your ears are good enough, mine went a long time ago, but bubble testing is next best, but only for the bits you can get at, Rick

You guys don't know how lucky you are - we're currently experiencing record temperatures here in southern Spain (42 - 47 in the shade) and my pre-intercooler T2 has no aircon!
